PLACING AN ORDER

Can I return or exchange my order?

If you are not satisfied with your order from Rachel Leigh, you have the option to return your purchase for a full refund (minus any shipping costs) or a merchandise credit. Returns must be postmarked within 30 days of original receipt. Sale items and custom-made pieces are not eligible for return.

Repairs

If treated with care your jewelry will last for years to come. Exposure to water and aggressive handling of hinges and clasps could result in damages. Should repairs be needed, please email a photo of the damaged item to info@rachelleigh.com to confirm the damage is repairable. Purchases made within one year from rachelleigh.com will be repaired free of charge. For transactions exceeding the 365-day window, a repair fee will apply.

Promotion Codes

Rachel Leigh promotion codes are redeemed during the checkout process. To redeem a promotion code, enter the code in the promotion box during checkout. The promotion code reduces your basket subtotal only, and does not apply towards Sales Tax or Shipping and Handling. A promotion cannot be combined with other promotions or applied to previous purchases.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is added to all orders shipped to New York state addresses. Sales tax is not charged to recipients outside of New York state.

International Orders

Please note that orders shipped outside the US may be subject to local customs fees or duties. Every country has different procedures and fees for incoming packages. Unfortunately, Rachel Leigh does not have information on customs or duties, and we are not able to estimate these charges. Please check with the proper local authorities before placing your purchase. Rachel Leigh is not responsible for non-paid import taxes, nor will Rachel Leigh issue any refunds or exchanges for deliveries that have been refused for non-payment import taxes. The shipping times for international orders will vary by country. Rachel Leigh cannot guarantee delivery dates on International Orders.

Your order didn’t go through?

If your order didn’t go through the first time, please read the error message. Please do not click “submit” more than once to ensure you do not get double charged. Contact customer service to tell us what your error message says and we’ll help figure out what happened during your order processing.

Duplicate Transaction

In the event that your transaction was processed more than once, please contact customer service for a full refund of the accidental order. Though a hold may be placed on your credit card, Rachel Leigh will release the hold as soon as the error is noticed and you will only be charged for the accurate order.

Declined

Because of insufficient funds or incomplete billing information your transaction was declined. Try using another credit card or call the credit card company in question.

How do I know if my order was processed?

Before checking out, make sure to double-check the information you entered is accurate – especially your email address. Your email confirmation will have the order total that was deducted from your credit card. If you have placed multiple orders, you will receive a confirmation order for each individual order successfully placed. Contact customer service if you have any questions.

Can I send multiple products to different addresses on one order?

Unfortunately, you can only enter one shipping address per online order. If you’d like to send purchases to more than one address, please place your order over the phone at 646.290.6034.

I entered the wrong shipping address

Contact customer service immediately and make sure you have your email receipt information and new shipping details. If your order has not left our distribution center, we are happy to make the appropriate changes. All of our orders are processed the day they are placed (excluding weekends and holidays), so if your order has already shipped you may incur a change of address fee.

Can I request a gift message?

Yes – if your order is a gift please indicate this in the Comments / More Information section at checkout. Let us know what you’d like to say and we’ll include the message and make sure not to put an invoice in the package.

SHIPPING INFO

When will my order ship?

All orders are processed and shipped within 24 hours, Monday thru Friday, 9 am – 4 pm. Packages are sent via FedEx, insured for the value of the merchandise, and may require a signature upon receipt. Expedited shipping is also available at an additional cost, and purchases made after 4 pm on Friday will not ship until the next business day. All items are eligible for free domestic ground shipping. If you do not want to be home to sign for your package, you have the option of waiving the insurance coverage and signature requirement. For all non-signed packages, the customer will be liable for the full price of the item.

How do I care for my Rachel Leigh jewelry?

Protect all jewelry from scratches, chemicals, and contact with water. After wearing, gently wipe each piece clean of make-up and skin oils. Store jewelry separately so it doesn’t tangle with or scratch other jewelry. Apply make-up and hair spray before putting on your jewelry. Make-up and hair spray contain chemicals that may affect your jewelry. Do not store jewelry next to heating vents, windowsills, or in the car. Do not wear jewelry while in a pool, hot tub, or bathing.

What is gold plate?

Our gold plating process begins with a base metal, which is then covered in several layers of 14k gold. Over time, gold plated jewelry can potentially wear.

What is oxidized jewelry?

Oxidization is a unique process where gold or silver plated jewelry is dipped into a liquid solution that darkens the color of the metal, giving it a less shiny and more vintage, antique feel.
